Rod Coronado Speaks

HSU Native Forum

The Environmental Protection Information Center (EPIC) hosts longtime activist Rod Coronado Thursday, March 27th at Humboldt State University’s Native Forum (BSS 162), from 5-7pm. Rod is best known for his direct action activism against illegal whalers, fur farmers and animal researchers in the 1980’s and 90’s. He is currently helping to build a citizen-led campaign against the recreational hunting of wolves. Coronado’s talk will include ideas on how members of the public can become involved in their own bio-regions to protect large apex predators and other wildlife. Free for students, sliding scale $5-10 for community members. For more information wildcalifornia.org.
