You can dance, listen, or guzzle beer and try to ignore, and it’s free — but there’s this new invention—it’s called the tip jar. I will frequently be explaining how it works. The last time I played in Alaska (and it’s been a while) they had a charming custom of “6 packing” the band to show approval, which involved sending a tray of 6 shots of liquor up to the stage. Sadly, it hasn’t caught on in Humboldt … yet … , and the RCB doesn’t serve hard booze, so get creative in showing your appreciation for Humboldt’s best band—Roland Rock! L’ Etat, C’est Moi!
