Rum and Rummage Sale
Timing is perfect to rid yourself of unused items and to help the RAA!
Last year the Rum & Rummage Sale went really well. Using the gallery to do a small fundraiser while we are in a down-time period to paint and repair the walls was a lot of fun. Because of that we are doing it again! The dates of the sale will be Friday, January 15, 4-7PM, and Saturday January 16th 9AM-2 PM.
We are requesting clean and ready for sale donations from you, the membership. Money raised will be used toward gallery operations and exhibitions. The perfect items to donate would be: furniture, books, clothes, decorative items, tools, jewelry, plants, etc. (Please, no appliances like stoves and refrigerators, computers or old electronics). We will be accepting the donations between 10AM and 3 PM on January 11, 13th and 14th. (Other arrangements can be made before then by calling or emailing Linda Wise at 499-2375 lwise@recology.com).
Friday night we will open the Rummage Sale by also providing a rum cocktail bar to make the rummaging more fun and to make some cash. The next day will be a regular sale. Leftover items that have not sold will be either donated to Tail Wagger’s; leftover books will be traded with Booklegger’s for gift certificates that can be given out as prizes.
