Sand Sculpture Festival

Grab your shovels and your buckets, the 24th Annual Sand Sculpture Festival is almost here! Come play in the sand for a good cause. Teams may sign up to build a sculpture and compete for cash prizes. Register on-site between 10 a.m. and noon, or register early online for a discounted early-bird registration fee. The best time to view sculptures is from 2 to 4 p.m. and awards will be announced shortly after 3 p.m. This event is free for spectators, but a $1 to $5 sliding scale donation is encouraged to support Friends of the Dunes and our free education programs. Every dollar donated gets you a people’s choice flag to vote for your favorite sculpture. Bring your wallet and appetite, food vendors will be on site! Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
