Saturday Speaker Series: The Archaeology and History of Falk Presentation

Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Headwaters Forest Reserve with a Special Presentation on the History of Falk!

Join us Saturday, October 5th from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Clarke Historical Museum for an engaging presentation in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Headwaters Forest Reserve!

Speakers:
- Julie Clark: Public Affairs Officer, former BLM Park Ranger, and local history author
- Jamie Roscoe: Local archaeologist and Humboldt County native who led the 2000 Falk archaeological study that paved the way for Falk’s 2023 listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

Learn about the fascinating history of Falk, a once-thriving mill town, and discover how oral history and archaeology together help us preserve Humboldt County’s past.
