The Clarke Historical Museum, Humboldt County Historical Society, and Humboldt County Library invite you to our March Speaker Series presentation featuring Virginia Howard Mullan.
Virginia will present “Humboldt County Courts World’s Fairs,” an exploration of Humboldt County’s participation in major world’s fairs, including the 1893 Chicago Fair, the 1894 San Francisco Fair, the 1915–1916 Panama-Pacific Exposition, and the 1939–1940 Golden Gate International Exposition.
A dynamic speaker, Virginia holds a master’s degree in American History from Cal Poly Humboldt. She has published four books, seven poems, and three short stories, and she co-hosts the podcast Intersubjectively, which explores engaging conversations on various topics.
