Science on Screen: Avengers Infinity War & Marvelous Nanoscience

Science on Screen is back! The historic Eureka Theater will host a “Science on Screen” series January through June in 2019, pairing feature films with experts in the fields of science, tech, engineering, and mathematics. This is made possible thanks to a grant from The Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. “MARVEL-ous Nanoscience” will begin with HSU lecturer Frank Cappuccio. This lecture will be followed by a screening of the Marvel Cinematic Universe epic, “Avengers: Infinity War.” Event takes places at the historic Eureka Theater, Thursday, January 17. Attendance is $5. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., lecture begins at 7:00, movie begins at 8:00.
