Science on Tap
Mad River Brewery Tasting Room
For this month’s Science on Tap, we are honored to spotlight the Eel River Dam Removals! Join us for an evening exploring the tribal history of the Upper Eel River, post-dam flow management, and the urgency of these dam removals. We are excited to host three speakers this month:
🐟 Wyatt Smith, Round Valley Indian Tribes
🐟 Scott McBain, Applied River Sciences
🐟 Alicia Hamann, Friends of the Eel River
✨ Talks begin at 6pm. If you can, please carpool with friends as parking is limited. Be sure to arrive early to grab a seat and sip a local brew from Paskenta Mad River Brewery while you settle in.
💚 All donations support Science on Tap and in-stream restoration projects by the Eel River Watershed Improvement Group—thank you for helping keep these events going strong!
Science on Tap fosters collaboration among local advocates for natural resources. Let’s create a platform for sharing ideas and inspire resilience in environmental restoration for generations to come. Join us in building an inclusive space that welcomes everyone into the environmental community, making knowledge accessible and enjoyable for all in a laid-back and fun setting. See you there!
