Science on Tap: Fish and Frogs

Mad River Brewery Tasting Room

Join us for this month’s Science on Tap to learn about Fish and Frogs with co-editor of the book: The Klamath Mountains: A Natural History, Justin Garwood, and local Environmental Scientist, Braden Herman who will enlighten us on their work reversing widespread legacy impacts of introduced sportfish on declining amphibians in glacial lake basins of the Klamath Mountains. If you love spending time in our beautiful mountains and have a soft spot for amphibians this is your talk! Come to the Mad River Brewery on Friday, November 17th to learn more!

This family-friendly talk will start at 6pm but come early to grab a seat and chow down on some delicious Low and Slow BBQ all while sipping your favorite beverage
from the Mad River Brewery!

THE TENT COVER IS UP! The brewery has patio heaters but to ensure you’re nice and cozy don’t forget your favorite jacket.

Our monthly Science on Tap event encourages intentional collaboration among our local natural resource advocates. We hope to build a platform for idea sharing to inspire generational resilience for regional environmental restoration. Along with this, we wanted to create a space to welcome people of all backgrounds into the environmental community and increase accessibility and access to knowledge in a fun and casual setting.
