Scott H. Brown and Katy M. Tahja
On Friday May 3 at 7 pm, Scott H. Brown and Katy M. Tahja will be at Northtown Books to sign their new books and chat about local history. Scott H. Brown has family history going back many generations in Eureka, and his book “Eureka Then & Now” shares historical and modern views of the same locations in town. Katy M. Tahja is a north coast historian and the author of five books, including a volume on Humboldt State University. Her new book “Logging Railroads of Humboldt & Mendocino Counties” explores the 40 railroads that once existed in the two counties. Both books are published by Arcadia Publishing, and include copious annotated historical photos.
