The instigators behind SCTV and the original inspiration for Saturday Night Live, Second City is a “comedy empire” (The New York Times). With a superstar alumni list of comic masters; Mike Myers, Steve Carell and Tina Fey to name a few, the company has been the springboard for generations of the comedy world’s best and brightest. In their latest show, they will be scouring Humboldt County for some special hilarious, spontaneous, locally-oriented material. The biggest headlines! The hot-button issues! All served up with a side of Second City-style improv.
