Second Sunday Cafe Ride
JOIN THE C STREET CYCLISTS FOR A RIDE ON EUREKA’S NEW BIKE BOULEVARD
This inclusive community event welcomes cyclists of all ages and abilities to join in a group ride to a local café, starting from the intersection of Harris and C streets and stopping at Cafe Familia in Old Town before returning along the bike boulevard.
This is a community ride not sponsored by any organization, but intended to share the joy and love of cycling amongst neighbors and community members. All participants who choose to join will do so at their own risk.
The new C St. Bike Boulevard, a testament to Eureka’s commitment to sustainable transportation and active living, offers a safe crosstown route for cyclists. Its completion provides a vital link for residents, promoting health, reducing traffic congestion, and fostering a stronger sense of community.
The ride will be at a leisurely pace, suitable for families and casual riders. Participants are encouraged to wear helmets and bring water bottles. No supervision or training will be provided, so riders should plan accordingly and ride within their personal limits.
