Simple Sterling Silver Studs Workshop

Create a pair of simple sterling silver stud earrings.

This workshop is great for beginners and is an easy introduction to sawing, texture, and soldering. No experience is necessary.

Metalsmith, Erin Austin, will guide you through:

Safety and PPE (personal protective equipment)
Pattern Transfer
Sawing
Texture
Soldering posts
Students will leave this workshop with a pair of sterling silver studs.

All supplies included. Limited to 4.

Students must be 18 years or older.

To use the studio you must:

Sign a Liability Waiver
Wear closed toed shoes
Wear appropriate eye protection
Wear splash goggles when using the soldering area
Note: 1 pair is available in the studio at the soldering station. If you would like your own pair please bring them.
Tie back long hair
Secure loose clothing
Follow all posted Studio rules
Follow directions from instructor and/or studio monitors
We also highly suggest wearing natural fibers like cotton, hemp, etc. Synthetic fibers contain plastic that may melt onto your skin if they come into contact with heat!
