Sisters Picnic 2023: The Resurrection
Eureka, CA - August 2023
The Eureka Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence warmly invite our volunteers and queer community members to help us resurrect one of our annual traditions! That’s right, on Sunday, September 10th, the Sisters will be hosting a give-back picnic at Sequoia Park for all of our hard work!
Festivities begin at 11 am, food at 12 noon, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Come out and enjoy food, friends, and fun for the whole community with the Eureka Sisters at this exciting celebration and community picnic! We will have face painting, bubbles, and arts and crafts to create some joy! Eat food, lie in the grass, or dance to some great music with friends and loved ones.
As always there will be the hilariously creative “My Pretty Pie” contest at 1:30 pm—prepare your prettiest, most creative, or tastiest pie for a chance to win a prize. Be there on-time, and do your best to win in one of the three categories!
Our “Flame Master” will be on the grill, and the Sisters will be providing hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, lemonade, and water! If you would like, feel free also to bring your own food.
And as always, donations to support the Sisters’ work are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible.
