Sneak-Peek Screening of Flavia

You’re invited to a sneak-peek screening of the feature film Flavia, scheduled to be released this December. This “Humboldt Premiere” is a fundraiser to support the re-openning of Northtown Books. The film’s producers will do a short Q&A following the film.

THE FILM: Flavia is a charming, and family-friendly film that combines adventure and murder mystery (suggested for those aged 8+). The cast includes Martin Freeman, Toby Jones, Jonathan Pryce, and Molly Belle Wright as the 11-year-old amateur detective Flavia.

THE FUNDRAISER: The Flavia De Luce movie is based on the best-selling mystery series by Alan Bradley. In honor of this book-to-film adaptation, we will be raising funds for the reopening of Arcata’s beloved Northtown Books. All attendees will be asked to make a suggested donation of $10-20 per ticket when arriving at the theater.
