SoHum Beer Fest & Barbecue Smoke Off
The Mateel Community Center’s 8th annual SoHum Beer Fest & Barbecue Smoke Off is coming up on Sunday, September 4th from 4 to 9pm. Held at the Mateel’s Hall & “Back 40” in Redway, this favorite SoHum summer event will feature micro and home brew tastings in a free commemorative tasting glass, as well as your choice of BBQ and side dishes.
The Beer Competition offers unlimited micro & home brewers and tasters- and grillmasters will be facing off for the taster’s choice award. It’s the public’s job is to enjoy them all and vote for your favorites! Winners of the competitions receive a plaque, barbecue equipment, Mateel swag and more.
Entertainment will include Cliff Dallas & The Death Valley Troubadours, The Funnicators, plus more to be announced. To sign up as a BBQ or Homebrew contestant- or for more information, call the Mateel office at 707-923-3368.
