Solar Photography: Cyanotype Workshop
This is a one-day workshop, with two opportunities to attend: SATURDAY, September 14th OR SUNDAY, September 15th 12pm-5pm each day WHAT IS CYANOTYPE? Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses the sun to produce a cyan blue print. The process is simple but incredibly diverse, lending itself easily to experimentation. In this one day workshop, learn both the fundamentals of the process and experimental techniques. LEARN THE FOLLOWING: -Fundamentals of the process & photograms -Cyanotype photographs & digital negatives -Toning & manipulation techniques NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! LOCATION: The Sanctuary: 1301 J St, Arcata, CA 95521 (13th St. and J St.) PRICE: $45 for the class, all materials, and a vegan lunch.
