Q&A with filmmaker to follow film.
The true story of Hunter Lewis, a young man who created an epic treasure hunt and was lost at sea in Trinidad in 2021. This 15 minute short film was written and directed by Hunter’s Humboldt-raised friend Brianna Chapman, as her thesis film at Chapman University’s film school in Orange County. It was shot in Humboldt County in March with significant support from the local community. All proceeds will go towards entering film festivals with the end goal of making a feature-length film about Hunter’s story.
