Dungeon Synth is a rapidly growing electronic sub-genre of Black Metal based on European Medieval/Fantasy Music.

One of the earliest American proponents of live Dungeon Synth, Sombre Arcane has offered several rituals to the public, incorporating video, costume, and elaborate staging to make the audience feel like they are peering into the window of an alchemist’s workshop. Crafting their sound with synths and strings, Sombre Arcane offers a well-crafted journey through the dungeons, infusing their music with folk, fantasy ambient, and balladry for a thoroughly immersive experience.

Francis Roberts is an American musician best known as the guitarist and vocalist of Old Man Wizard and the former guitarist and vocalist of The Dread Crew of Oddwood. His latest solo effort Musical Instrument d e a t h Interface is due to be released digitally on November 8, with a limited run of cassettes following shortly thereafter.

Hailing from Arcata California, FVRFVR is occult and fantasy influenced Dungeon Synth. Influenced by the soundtracks of 1980s fantasy music, and using classic hardware synthesizers, FVRFVR transports you away from the mundane modern world and to the plane of the mystical and fantastic.

FVRFVR will be playing alongside Sombre Arcane, and Francis Roberts, at Dungeon Siege West.
