Special Screening of the Documentary Film “The Land Returns”

Eureka Theater

We invite you to join us for a special evening of film, community, and conversation as we explore the power of reconnecting Indigenous peoples with their ancestral homelands. The Land Returns shares inspiring stories of the Pawnee Nation in Nebraska, the Wiyot people in California, and the Cheyenne/Arapaho in Colorado, highlighting how Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities are coming together to restore land, strengthen relationships, and create a future rooted in respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

Following the screening, stay for a special Q&A featuring Ted Hernandez, Eureka Mayor Kim Bergel, and Margaret Jacobs, moderated by Candice Dalsing. Together, we'll explore the importance of reconnecting Indigenous communities with their ancestral homelands, the power of collaboration, and how we can all be part of building a more equitable future.
