✨🌠 **STAR PARTY AT ALBEE CREEK CAMPGROUND!** 🌠✨

Come join us under the stars for a special **Star Party at Albee Creek Campground in Humboldt Redwoods State Park!** 🌌 This is located on the Mattole Road, take Highway 101 exit 663, head west approximately 5 miles.

The **Humboldt Redwoods Interpretive Association** and the **Astronomers of Humboldt** invite you and your family to spend an evening exploring the night sky—and hopefully catching some shooting stars! This event will coincide with the **Perseid meteor shower**, one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year. ☄️

👕 T-shirts available for purchase (bring cash if you’d like one!)

🪑 A blanket or chair to get comfortable
🔦 A **red-light flashlight or red-light headlamp**, if you have one
**Please avoid white lights!** White light can interfere with everyone’s night vision, making it harder to see the stars. Red light helps preserve our night vision while we enjoy the darkness. ❤️
