Stephen Most: Stories Make the World

Northtown Books welcomes Stephen Most, award-winning filmmaker and author of Stories Make the World: Reflections on Storytelling and the Art of the Documentary. He will talk about his life as a filmmaker and the importance of non-fiction storytelling in this current era of “fake news.” A screening of Stephen’s latest short film, Nature’s Orchestra, about soundscape ecology and the origins of music in the natural world will also be shown. His previous book, River of Renewal: Myth and History in the Klamath Basin, was a vital cultural history of our area.
