Stick Men

Arcata Playhouse

Stick Men are renowned for their genre-defying compositions and electrifying performances. Tony Levin, one of the most recorded bassists in history, is known for his work with King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Paul Simon, and most recently with BEAT featuring Adrian Belew, Steve Vai and Danny Carey. He is also a pioneer of the Chapman Stick, bringing a distinctive melodic and harmonic depth to the band’s sound. Pat Mastelotto, also a longtime member of King Crimson, is known for his diverse drumming style that has powered everything from Mr. Mister to experimental groups like Tu-Ner and The Rembrandts. Markus Reuter, a German composer and touch guitar innovator, also collaborates with Mastelotto in Tu-Ner, and is recognized for his work across the progressive, ambient, and contemporary classical scenes. Together, the trio crafts music that lives somewhere between art rock, avantmetal, and cinematic sound design — always pushing boundaries and redefining what a power trio can be.
