Stranded Marine Mammal Lecture & Training w/ Dr. Dawn Goley

Join Dr. Dawn Goley, Director of CalPoly Humboldt’s Stranded Marine Mammal Monitoring Program for a lecture and training on May 23 & 24 at the Shelter Cove Community Clubhouse,1555 Upper Pacific Dr. The lecture, from 5-7pm on 5/23, will highlight data collected through our local hub of the Stranded Marine Mammal Monitoring Program. The following morning, 5/24 from 9:30am-1:30pm, will feature a training for those interested in joining the Shelter Cove monitoring team. If you enjoy walking local beaches and want to contribute to the conservation of marine mammals, this program is for you! Email justin@lostcoast.org for more info.
