Summer Manga-Style Drawing Course

Scrapper’s Edge

This class is designed for students who love to draw. Students will be inspired to see how simple it can be to draw interesting and imaginative characters in Manga drawing style while also being encouraged to develop their own style of drawing. Lessons will include character drawing in the appropriate age group for young artists, also known as Chibi and Kodomo. Class materials are recommended for each young artists. Parents can sign child up for both courses if desired if you feel your child would want to actively draw for nearly 4 hours. Individual instructions is designed into the course through taking requests from young artist students. Please bring a sketch pad, Bristol or Mixed Media pad, mechanical pencil, kneaded eraser, Pigma Micron 05 and black Copic Sketch marker. Optional supplies include colored pencils, watercolor and/or Copic pens. This class meets June 22, 23, 24 & 25. There are two sessions to choose from: 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm.
