Redwood Caregiver Resource Center, a program of North Coast Opportunities Inc., and Adult Day Health and Alzheimer’s Services, programs of Humboldt Senior Resource Center, present: Taking Care of Someone Else: Managing the Frustrations of Caregiving Family caregivers will learn how to increase their abilities to: •Recognize warning signs of stress •Identify sources of stress •Identify what they can and cannot change •Take action to manage stress Facilitated by Alexis Glidewell, LCSW Family Consultant, Redwood Caregiver Resource Center Friday June 10th, 2016 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM *Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Redwood Caregiver Resource Center will provide grants for respite care for family caregivers who need it in order to attend. Requests for respite must be made by May 31st. Location: Humboldt Senior Resource Center Alzheimer’s Resource Center Library 1901 Building B California Street Eureka, CA 95501 Cost: $20.00 per person (scholarships available for family caregivers) Checks made out to Redwood CRC Lunch: Participants have the choice of bringing their lunches to the class or purchasing lunch (pizza) for an additional $5.00, payable the day of the event.
