The Humboldt County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) will host a free “Test Your Household Items for Lead” event. Bring up to three household items to be tested (while testing supplies last). We can test painted items (including paint chips from a home), dishware, small furniture, and imported items such as toys and antiques. We cannot test cosmetics, foods, spices, soil or water. Location: At the Henderson Center Farmers’ Market on F and Henderson streets in Eureka. Look for our booth near Redwood Capital Bank. Se habla español.
