The Brothers Comatose, who despite their name have become known nation-wide for lively, high-energy performances will be headlining Hoedown this year. This 5-piece string band from San Francisco blends Americana, Folk and Bluegrass with concise song writing to create a unique experience that leaves audiences wanting more.

Hellbound Glory has been added to the line-up at Hoedown featuring singer-songwriter Leroy Virgil, who says this band’s brand of Americana is infused by elements of his three main influences, Hank Williams, Nirvana and Hank Williams Jr.

The McCoy Tyler Band, a progressive acoustic trio from Santa Cruz fuses elements of traditional folk, bluegrass, old-school country, blues, and more in their music. Tyler’s impactful songwriting and unique arrangements paired with the band’s high-energy live set, make them one of the most intriguing, up and coming bands in the Bay Area and beyond.

Fans of fabulous string music will not want to miss Hot October, also known in these parts as Southern Humboldt homegrown talent, Jesse Peterson’s bluegrass band. This high energy quartet is built up of some of the best pickers in Los Angeles. After studying at Cal Arts in Santa Clarita, all members continued working as professional session and performing artists with ranging genres of music.

Caitlin Jemma & The Goodness are also known for their fine musicianship. Jemma, a native of Eugene, is a singer/songwriter who brings a decidedly wholesome brand of bluegrass, folk and country. Another hometown favorite, bluegrass and country singer, April Moore, will be performing with her band, April Moore & Ranch Party. Also performing will be Three Times Bad, Eric Cornforth & Friends present “Deadwood Hicktown”, Kindred Spirits, Back to the Hill, and Lilith Song with still more to be announced.

Great bluegrass, folk and country all day! Come enjoy! Doors open at high noon with music til midnight.
