The Bowlicks, Imri Vasale
We’re excited to welcome The Bowlicks to the Sanctuary for the first time, though each of the three members have made uncountable appearances here with other groups. Rosalind, Jesse, and Nate will be presenting a collection of eclectic tunes that showcase their unsurpassed musicianship on violin, cello, and upright bass. Valiantly witty Old Time singer and banjo picker, Imri Vasale, will open.

What happens when you stick a jazz bass, a classical cello and a folk fiddle in a musical blender? Come find out! The Bowlicks are Rosalind Parducci on fiddle, Jesse Alm on cello, and Nate Zwerdling on bass. The dynamic range of this group could be described as upbeat-melancholic… A keening instrumental ballad meets with chunky blues, and the soaring, toe-tapping tones of Northern California fiddling.
Featuring a mix of tasteful covers and original songs and fiddle tunes, The Bowlicks music is inspired by the Goat Rodeo Sessions, Punch Brothers, Scottish fiddle-cello duo Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, and Mark O’Connor. The Bowlicks are delighted to showcase the distinctive vocal talent of Hannah Rosencrans.
