The Condor’s Shadow explores the great hope and extreme lengths that biologists, zookeepers, scientists and a feisty condor with the Native American name, Pitahsi, bring to the task of pulling the condor back from the brink of extinction. Yurok Tribe wildlife biologist, Ken Burton, will be on hand to help us appreciate the challenge and adventure of recovering an endangered species. His involvement withthe condor project includes educational outreach, emergency planning, and surrogate monitoring.
