The Drama of a Moving Ecosystem
Join Friends of the Dunes Naturalist Jenny Hanson for a tour of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge’s Lanphere Dunes that will include a fascinating walk focused on the dynamic nature of the dunes. Meet at Pacific Union School in Arcata to carpool to the protected site. Come dressed for the weather and be prepared to hike in loose sand.
