The Haggle: Rummage/Bake Sale
6th and I Street - Arcata, California
Sharpen your tongues and put on your bargain hunting boots because we are hosting potentially one of the best….or the worst; well definitely the strangest rummage and bake sales you will have ever been to! There will be absolutely NO PRICES on any of the items for sale, so you will have to try your luck haggling with our volunteers on any of the items that catch your fancy. We will be up the night before baking an assortment of healthy and delicious baked goods to keep you fueled while you battle for the best bargain with fresh tasty snacks.
This event is a non profit fundraiser for Inspireone, a local grassroots charitable organization. 100% of the proceeds go to our projects in the rural village district of Buikwe, Uganda. These projects vary from purchasing cows for families that can take on the responsibility, school supplies and vital renovations to the current school grounds, and feeding more than 80 vulnerable children almost year around.
We are looking for donations up until the day before and volunteers any time so please reach out if you feel so inclined.
