The Siren’s Song Tavern

A Reason to Listen hosts the monthly event: The Humboldt Poetry Show! It takes place the first Thursday of every month at the Siren’s Song. Open mic sign ups start at 7:00pm, and the show starts at 7:30pm. Our special feature for the feature month is: Raggedy Andey from Santa Cruz! She has self published 3 books of original work, is the grand slam champion for Legendary Collective 2015 through 2018. She competed in the National Poetry Slam (2015) and Southwest Shoot Out (2018), in which she won the independent competition, as well as taking first place with the Legendary Team overall. She seeks to inspire youth to write as a means of coping with trauma. Live Music from DJ Goldylocks and Live Art from Dre Meza! This is our last show before we take the summer off and return in September!
