Panel and cultural event: “The Joy of Our Culture”
This event showcases the inspiring stories of Indigenous migrant women working in Humboldt’s tourism industry, including hotels and restaurants, as they reclaim and celebrate their cultural heritage. Through personal testimonies, indigenous dances, and migration narratives, the panel addresses challenges such as racism, prejudice, and economic inequities.
