Formed in Chico, CA, in 1991, earthy pop jam rockers, the Mother Hips have attained legendary status in Northern California for their high energy live shows and tuneful compositions. With tight harmonies and country-tinged melodies honoring California’s musical past—from Merle Haggard to the Beach Boys to Neil Young, the band has carved its own unique niche in the musical landscape. Celebrating the release of their first new album in many years, the band will perform a special acoustic set followed by a trademark, raucous electric set.
