The Music Man

Ferndale Repertory Theatre

Seventy-six trombones are headed to Ferndale Rep! Ferndale Repertory Theatre presents Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, running May 29 through June 28. This beloved musical brings big musical numbers, small-town comedy, barbershop harmony, and a joyful celebration of community to the FRT stage.

Step into River City, Iowa, where fast-talking salesman Harold Hill arrives with plans to sell instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he has no intention of organizing. But River City — with its sharp-eyed neighbors, stubborn traditions, and one very perceptive librarian — may change him more than he expects.

Featuring a large local cast, memorable songs including “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Till There Was You,” and “Gary, Indiana,” The Music Man is a joyful story about music, imagination, and the surprising ways a community can come together.

Performances are Fridays at 7:30 PM and Saturdays/Sundays at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $22 general admission, $20 students/seniors, and $18 each for groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available at ferndalerep.org, by phone at 707-786-5483, or in person at 447 Main Street, Ferndale.
