The North Coast Seabird Protection Network

Six Rivers Masonic Lodge

Join the Redwood Region Audubon Society for a program presented by Shannon Brinkman, seabird biologist with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Trinidad is a regionally important area for roosting and nesting seabird species along the California coast. The BLM Arcata Field Office, along with many partners, is spearheading the North Coast Seabird Protection Network (NCSPN), which aims to learn more about the seabird species in Trinidad and how to protect them from disturbance. Ms. Brinkman will talk about the seabird species in Trinidad, the work the NCSPN has done since it started in 2017, and how the public can get involved in the NCSPN Citizen Science Program. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the program starts at 7:30 p.m. Bring a mug for shade-grown coffee and come fragrance-free.
