Three: The Evolution of the Piano Trio
After Hours traces the piano trio from the first jazz trio to the trios playing today. From the classic trios like Bill Evans, Vince Guaraldi, Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal, to newer trios like Robert Glasper, Kenny Barron, and Ellis Marslias. Ramsey Isaacs, Matt Seno and Lee Phillips follow last month’s sold-out Coltrane night with just the three of them.
