Tom Waits Night at Open Mic w/ Chris Parreira

Tom Waits turns 70 this week, so to celebrate the man and his music I’m encouraging people to play his songs at this open mic. Participation is optional, you do not HAVE to perform a Tom Waits song (or 2 or 3), but it would be really cool if you did. The best way to sign up is in person. Come to Phatsy Kline’s between 6:30 and 7pm, the earlier you arrive the more choice you will have for your time slot. Slots are 10-12 minutes which is roughly 3 normal length songs or 2 longer songs. If you know you won’t be able to make it before 7pm but you really want to perform, please contact me and I’ll put you on a waiting list. If there are any spots left on the sign up list after 7pm I will go to the waiting list. No promises. Open Mic at Phatsy Kline’s happens every 1st & 3rd Monday.
