Trailhead Hosts at Black Sands Beach

See Event Description

Labor Day is one of the busiest weekends of summer on the Lost Coast and, for four days, September 2 through 5, Friends of the Lost Coast and the Bureau of Land Management King Range National Conservation Area seek your volunteer service as a Trailhead Host at Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove. Trailhead Hosts welcome and engage the public on busy summer weekends, available to answer questions, provide maps, talk beach safety, and share information about the King Range/Lost Coast - all while enjoying an epic perch above Black Sands Beach. This always-fun volunteer opportunity is a great way to celebrate Labor Day Weekend, Friday-Monday, September 2-5, while helping steward our local public lands. Email justin@lostcoast.org for more information or to volunteer.
