Memorial Day is one of the busiest weekends of summer on the Lost Coast and on May 24-27, BLM King Range and Friends of the Lost Coast seek volunteer Trailhead Hosts at Black Sands Beach in Shelter Cove. Trailhead Hosts count and engage visitors on busy weekends, available to answer questions, talk beach safety, and share information about the Lost Coast - all while enjoying epic coastal views. This always-fun volunteer opportunity is a great way to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend, Friday-Monday, May 24-27.
