UC Master Gardener Training Orientation

Curious about becoming a UC Master Gardener? Come to a free orientation on the 2027 training. UC Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by UC Cooperative Extension who share research-based gardening information with their neighbors. The 16-week course runs March through June 2027, with weekly Zoom classes and monthly hands-on Saturday classes. It is open to adults who live in Humboldt or Del Norte County. No sign-up needed. Orientations: Nov. 19 (Zoom, noon), Nov. 21 (Crescent City, 12:30 p.m.), Nov. 22 (Eureka, 12:30 p.m.) and Nov. 23 (Zoom, 6:30 p.m.). In-person sessions include light refreshments.
