THE WAIT IS OVER! We are partnering with THE BASEMENT in Arcata to kick Grad Night into overdrive! We know you’ve been working hard in or out of the classrooms to be the best and it’s time to let that honor flag fly! We are bringing 2025 Northern Nights standout Ekonovah all the way from Arizona to headline this high energy event. Get ready for an incredible bass and tech house producer with melodic influence, bold sound and even original vocals.

The festival veteran will be joined by the incredibly talented masta mixa and bass tech house favorite, SPENNY who may even have some trap mixed in. Bass house producer PRETZZ, and Pop and bass EDM artist WEBBSTYLES with a heater of a set! We will have an amazing vocal performance by the talented MAMA MIA and sets by the VAGABOND DANCERS. Originating from Phoenix, Arizona, Ekonovah is on a simple mission: to influence the electronic dance music scene with a new sound.

The 28-year-old is just at the beginning of his musical journey with original vocals and a unique approach to sound design and songwriting.

With years of performance experience throughout North America and Europe, Ekonovah is leaving his sonic footprint and distinguished sound across the world.

Garnering support from his inspirations like Porter Robinson, Deadmau5, Tiesto, and more, Ekonovah is on track to create his own niche within the electronic dance community.

SPeNNY:
SPeNNY is becoming a recognized name in the Tech House world as he has quickly garnished support from artists such as Henry Fong, Luca Lush, Hedegaard, Gudfella, Pickup Lines, Maximo & others.

SPeNNY’S style is unique as he infuses modern Tech House & Techno with the familiar sounds of 80’s/90’s synthwave to produce a high energy danceable beat throughout his sets. Although he differs from other current artists, his influence comes from Eli Brown, Chris Lake, Kaskade, and even Daft Punk.

Since his DJ debut in 2023 he has played at venues and Festivals across California including Northern Nights Music Festival (Piercy, CA), Hotel Ziggy (LA, CA), RampArt (Arcata, CA), Eureka Theatre (Eureka, CA) & others. He has played alongside some industry leaders including Henry Fong and had multiple sold out shows including performances with Hedegaard & JAYCiX.

SPeNNY’S ear and proficiency started long before he began djing as he is a trained musician, playing both the drums & saxophone. He transitioned into producing in High School where he made rap beats before taking up his calling behind the decks. One thing is for sure, any SPeNNY set you get to go to will have a poppin’ dance floor. With releases on the horizon, SPeNNY is a name to watch.

PRETZZ:
From California, Pretzz grew up consumed by music and edm as a whole, never being bound by one particular genre, but becoming ever so obsessed with dance music.

Always pushing what is possible in his ability, Pretzz produces a wide range of dance music from melodic house, and tech house, to high energy bass house and trap. His bright and energetic persona paired with many releases such as his hit bass house track “House Party” and groovy tech house club banger “Nothing Compares”, quickly caused Pretzz to gain traction and increase his endless drive to create more music, and spread positivity.

Regardless of being in the early stages of his career, his vibrant and spirited personality paired with his ability to blend a multitude of genres, Pretzz strives to deliver memorable sets filled with energy and feeling. Driven by his intense work ethic but overwhelming capability to make sure everyone has a good time, he is always certain to bring the party wherever he goes.

A lifelong audiophile with a passion for the nightlife scene and music industry. Romping around the bay area for the last decade has turned him into a formidable musical chameleon - but he specializes in House, Future Bass, & Rap music. No genre is left behind when his mission is to shake the room and get you to the dance floor.

MAMA MIA:
From before she could speak, she could hum a melody. Dubbed the “queen of Karaoke at the age of 8” she found herself in the spotlight. Growing up she used music to escape. First with her voice followed by the violin, piano, and guitar creating a regionally known powerhouse at a young age.

She immersed herself in her craft every free moment and let her struggles fuel her passion. After a sabbatical, she has returned to the scene a new vocalist with specialties in soul, pop, & edm renditions. Through her performance career, she has never wavered from song writing, in which she has quickly made a name for herself throughout the nor cal scene including festival performances and soon to be released headliner collaborations. Its a treat every time she takes the stage as she makes every performance uniquely special.
