Unveiling of 3D Blacklight Murals at Stuff N Things!

See Event Description

During Eureka’s Arts Alive, be sure to stop by Stuff N Things for an awesome experience! When arriving at Stuff n Things you will be greeted with captivating fluorescent mind melting murals. Each mural has its own style yet prominent overall Art Deco theme. When viewed with 3D glasses (provided by Stuff n’ Things) they will provide a unique magical experience. These brilliant neon paintings are illuminated by black-lights which brighten up the night, give the paint vibrancy, and spark your imagination. While shopping inside of Stuff n’ Things you will find another mural by the same artist, Blake Reagan - a large bouquet of undulating Art Deco flowers, electric gradients, and reflective spheres. Blake Reagan has been an artist in Humboldt County for 12 years. He studied art at College of the Redwoods and has learned much from the large community of helpful artists that reside locally. Blake works in a range of mediums from traditional oils and acrylics, to ceramics and kinetic sculptures. While his current work reflects the recent extension of our digital selves and their constructs, he has always employed themes surrounding sustainability and the duality of being human. You can see his work at www.Blakereagan.weebly.com, and make sure to follow him on instagram @blakereaganart, or find him live painting at a local show.
