For the 13th anniversary of its world premiere in Humboldt County, Voices That Heal, a documentary by filmmaker Alex Goldenberg, will be shown at the United Congregational Christian Church from 4-7pm. This film explores six different individual journeys through the mental health system and various pathways of healing. The film is intended to challenge conventional perspectives and promote dialogue regarding these sensitive issues. Please join us for the screening and discussion afterwards, in honor of mental health awareness month. Suggested donation, $5-10. All proceeds go to UCCC.
