Volunteer Ivy Removal Day
Invasive ivy is harmful to both natural and urban landscapes, as it can eradicate important habitats for native animals and damage urban structures. Fruiting ivy in urban landscapes is spread by birds to natural landscapes, such as Tuluwat Island, but you can help!
On Saturday, March 22nd, help remove invasive ivy in Old Town next to 901 2nd St. Drop in anytime between 12pm-4pm, supplies will be provided.
We will have tools and safety equipment for everyone, but feel free to bring your bring your own. We encourage you to wear thick clothing and bring water.
