Waterfowl Hunt Blind Brush-up

Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Celebrate the 25th Annual National Public Lands Day at Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Join us for a volunteer workday and help prepare the waterfowl hunt blinds for the upcoming season. Volunteering on National Public Lands Day is an opportunity to spend time outside with family and friends, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the benefits that come with the satisfaction of giving back. Sponsored by the National Environmental Education Foundation, National Public Lands Day is a fee-free day for all federal public lands across America. Plus, everyone who attends an #NPLD event gets a coupon good for free entry to any public land managed by one of the federal partners any time before NPLD 2019. Bring drinking water, gloves if you have them and wear closed-toe shoes. We’ll provide tools, lunch and a free entry coupon for federal public lands. Please RSVP for groups, so we have enough lunch. Meet at 1020 Ranch Road in Loleta.
