Ever wonder what we’re keeping in the barrels out back? Dessert cider so nice we’re throwing it a debut party and YOU are invited! We are excited to introduce this delectable beverage entitled, “We Aren’t Allowed to Call this A Pommeau.” A long name for smooth, sweet, long lasting flavor; aged to perfection in collaboration with Humboldt Distillery. Stop in at the Tap Room at 517 F Street, Eureka, CA on June 6th. 2pm-10pm.
Our dessert cider is a blend of fresh pressed Mcintosh and Gravenstein juice, slightly fermented and blended with Apple Brandy distilled from our Mcintosh and Jonathan Ciders by Humboldt Distillery. It was then put into three different whiskey barrels. The first aged for 18 months and the other two for 9 months. We then blended all three together. The final result is a rich complex aperitif/dessert cider. 18.5%abv
Aromas of fresh pressed apples, oak, vanilla, and leather.
Sweet flavors of apple, maple syrup, cotton candy, plum with slight smoky tart finish.
This one is a must try!
Event is all ages 2pm-7pm. 21+ after 7pm.
