FREE screening with $5 minimum food or drink purchase from the bar, for our “Week of the Living Dead” celebration of the 50th Anniversary of ‘Night of the Living Dead!’ The final film in the late George A. Romero’s Dead Trilogy is set in an underground military bunker during humanity’s last stand, where a research team conducts experiments on captured zombies while the undead outnumber the living. Day of the Dead has recently enjoyed a major reappraisal by critics and fans who have come to view the film as the director’s most savage sociopolitical polemic. We will be screening the new high-definition remaster of the film.
