Wild Russian Animated Shorts
Humboldt State University Library 1 Harpst St, Arcata, California 95521 The screening takes place in the Library Fishbowl on the 2nd floor. All community members and visitors to Humboldt are welcome. From propaganda to children’s programming (often laced with propaganda) Russian animators created unique visions to delight and awe audiences for generations. We’ll view a variety of animation styles created with wild imaginations and beautiful imagery. Relax and enjoy the strange culture of animated Russian filmmaking.
